The Ultimate Brow Guide

All we want is world peace and good brows, am I right?

Brows are one of the most requested tutorials. After all, 90% of a good selfie is good brows, right?

My favorite product to fill in my brows is Smoked Topaz Shadowsense on most days. It is easy to use, super versatile, smudge proof so I don’t end up with my brows smeared all over my forehead, and water resistant enough for daily activity - even sweating!  If I am headed to the beach or pool and want something that is truly waterproof, I love our Taupe Browsense!

Here are my top tips for creating perfect brows!

  1. Use flicking motions to create the most realistic-looking hairs
  2. To measure where the tail of your brow needs to end, place a brow pencil diagonally at your nostril and line it up with the side of your eye. Where the pencil hits your brow bone is where the end of your eyebrow should end.
  3. Hold a brow pencil against your nostril and line it up diagonally with the center of your eye. That's exactly where any arch should go naturally.
  4. Use concealer below your brows instead of highlighter.

Outlining your brows with highlighter can put too much of a spotlight on your arches. Instead, go for a concealer that's one shade lighter than your skin.

On a scale of 1-5, how confident do you feel when it comes to doing your brows? I would love to hear, so head on over to my Facebook or Instagram and let me know!
